Hope, Renewal, and Reflection

A message from Interim Executive Director, Teresa Reid

As we step into 2025 and celebrate the Jubilee Year, we are invited to a profound moment of hope, renewal, and reflection.

This spirit of renewal resonates deeply as I reflect on my approaching two-year work anniversary with the Catholic Foundation of West Michigan. These past years have been marked by extraordinary progress and countless blessings, thanks to the unwavering support of our community.

Last year, the Foundation awarded $3.5 million in grants to 109 organizations. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without loyal supporters like you. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Greg Deja for his leadership and dedication to the mission of the Foundation. His vision guided us through significant growth, helping us emerge stronger from the challenges of the pandemic and positioning us for a bright future.

As I step into the role of Interim Executive Director, I am deeply humbled by the timing. This year, the Catholic Foundation of West Michigan celebrates its 30th anniversary. What a legacy of faith and generosity that has brought us to this point! I am committed to giving my all in this role, celebrating Catholic philanthropy, and honoring the meaningful partnerships that have profoundly impacted our diocese over the years.

I am honored by your trust, encouragement, and support during this hope-filled time. Together, we have so many opportunities to build upon the solid foundation laid by those who came before us. Your steadfast faith and generosity continue to light the way.

With abundant gratitude,

Teresa Reid
Interim Executive Director
